I’ve got a couple new remixes posted up over on Remixfight! I did 2 different versions of a song called “Piano Keys” by DJ RedShirt, a remixfight stalwart. His tune is an instrumental track so to shake things up a bit, I really threw one mix into left field with a Topol inspired version I dubbed “fiddler on a goof”. I’ve been having fun with fiddle samples lately, which I liberally and gratuitously used throughout this remix. But I did use a number of original samples, including the main bassline, select keys, and synth. The other remix I did features a number of samples I got from ccmixter.org.

I’ve also done 3 versions of the upcoming obscurity remixfight which should be posted sometime around the first of March. I’ll post the links to them at that time. I really enjoyed working on the obscurity remix. Great mix and great vocals by JB.

New remix over on Remixfight! The Pawnbroker’s Stepdaughter by Puce is the latest recipient of my ADD (Audio Dysfunction Disorder). I pretty much stuck to his loopset (except the drums) and this was a really fun project. From one bloody ham to another, it was a blast. great original.
